Passing Glasgow

That's us passing Glasgow now. Some are more lively than others!

Great timing

Delighted we enjoyed that sunshine when we could. Look what chased us across the water and has now caught up with us. Our driver estimates a 1o'clock arrival subject to traffic.

A sunny crossing

How nice. The sun is out and our tired kiddies are soaking up the beautiful views. Gorgeous.

Group 1 on the ropes.

Superb teamwork and supporting each other as Group 1 triumphed on the ropes this morning!
The high ropes are VERY high and the leap for the trapeze terrified me but was taken very much in the stride of the kids. Natalia showed no nerves, Leigh scuttled up the poles, and Sabine lead the way with her confidence. Impressive stuff team! I'm proud of you.

Gorge walking!

We did it! What a fantastic group. Huge applause for the whole team who were so brave and determined.

Team P6

All our bags are packed, we're ready to go. We're standing here outside the door... 🎶

Disco finery

Check out our gorgeous bunch!

Photos update

Ill add the posts I've been unable to post with photos when I pick up a signal :)

And we're off...

The sun is shining, it's a gorgeous morning as we bid byebye to Benmore.
It should be a nicer ferry crossing today. See you soon.

Homeward today

Good morning.
That's all the beds cleared, bags (nearly packed) and ready for our last Benmore breakfast. Ill update you as I can today.

Bedtime

That's them all in bed following the excitement of the disco. Tomorrow morning it's up, packed, beds stripped, breakfasted and headed off. General consensus is its been a truly superb experience, but they're excited to head back too. See you tomorrow.

D.I.S.C.O.

The disco is in full swing, smart outfits, some serious shapes in the dance floor and Gangnam Style just started. Mrs Ruddy and Mrs Stiven are leading the way!

Signal issues

I'm trying to add some photos from today but the signal has vanished!
It's been a wonderful day once again, the kids have done themselves proud and I'm blown away with some if the determination and support I've seen.
The kids are currently packing. We're trying to make sure as many of the clothes are dried as possible and stray items are returned, BUT it's tricky!
Will try again later with the photos.

Friday - what time will they all get back?

The bus should be back at school between 1 and 1.30pm on Friday.  Ms Lester will probably keep everyone up to date on progress and I will send out a text when they reach the end of the M8.

Benmore bulge beware!

Mrs Stiven and Mrs Ruddy compare the Benmore bulge after 4 days!
Mrs Ruddy definitely earned her lunch after gorge walking with Group 3 this morning, sliding into pools and scrambling up through the Keyhole!
Mrs Stiven and Group 2 whipped around the orienteering course, and no one got lost! So they do deserve a hearty meal!
The kids are in and out ready to start our afternoon activities.

Goooooood morning!

A slightly damp but looks like brightening morning in Benmore! It's getting tougher to get up - one room of boys had to be woken by Mrs Ruddy at 8:10! However, they are now trickling into the breakfast room!
My legs are a little sore today, I blame the mountain biking!
General chat is all about the activities ahead! I'm being advised what to wear for gorge walking and the ropes course is 'high' ''wobbly' but 'exciting!' I'm terrified! Mahira tells me she's looking forward to the biking today although slightly nervous as, 'I wobble more than a jelly!' :)
Timetable for the day...
Group 1 ropes/sailing
Group 2 orienteering/ropes
Group 3 gorge/orienteering
Group 4 bike/gorge
And tonight... D. I. S. C. Ooooohh :)
